Home Sweet Home At Last....

Cold Wet day.............
A place call home.......My new condo has been ready for almost a year and it is only last Sunday we decided to move in after much persuasion from me to be exact. Son#1 seems to be reluctant to move his butt from the older apartment which is smaller and further away from his work place. He finally move in on Tuesday after seeing he is the only one left, with no food on the table when he is home or is it the creepy feeling of being home alone.
It takes 3 days of moving boxes of household things to get almost everything settle down. One of my new kitchen sink twin taps broke down but luckily the other one was usable. To add to the misery, after 2 days of cooking on the new Fujihome induction stove, it broke down too half way through my soup dishes. Luckily I had move over my old microwave oven to continue the cooking or else I have to hope over across the road to e-gate to have some expensive dinner @ Subway, Secret Recipe, Hongkie, Tao buffet, Old Town Cafe or anything that needs me to part with my money instead of homecook food. Still waiting for the technician to repair my stove why typing here.
My stomach is groaning for food and I am so lazy to eat out in this cold rainy day. I was caught in the rain too while out shopping in Tesco supermarket yesterday. How to walk home in the rain while having trolley full of groceries. Hope it will be sunny again to dry away all my wet laundry hanging for days with no space for more.

Welcome to your new home. Hope your stove gets fixed soon. At least it's under warranty. It'll take a while to finally settle to a new place and before you know it, it's home sweet home. Great view!
Molly- Should have move long ago but was delayed til now. The nice view cost us some lump sum of $$$$.
Kess & Mama - Yeah, it will take some time to get everything in place. Son#1 still miss his old bedroom and son H unforgetfully drove to the old apartment the other day and only realise he no longer lives there.
is a nice place u have here, whats the color of your ceiling? i have a similar living room here but still unpainted.

Shireen, I am here in Penang. Everyday can see Penang bridge from my new condo..ha.ha. If lazy to cook can just hop over to E-gate or Tesco accross the road. So convenient isn't it?

Yeah, just next to Tesco hypermarket and close to 2 sons workplace. The large pool is what I like best.
